Thank you for being you and doing the things you try to do! Some things just happen true to form... I'm creating journals full of awesomeness and I use it to create mail art. I'm sure it's all trashure." - Francis Lamme (The Netherlands) Mail art by Francis Lamme (The Netherlands)

"Rituelles Ereignis": Mail Art by Kevin Brandtner (Vienna, Austria)

Image
"Rituelles Ereignis" by Kevin Brandtner (Vienna, Austria) By Kevin Brandtner (Vienna, Austria) Deepest thanks to new network friend Kevin Brandtner for mailing from Europe. I have admired Kevin's work from afar. He is definitely a current Eternal Network star. (The post is belated, but I wanted to share this piece.) Now I have this wonderful piece for the archives. "Rituelles Ereignis" is taken from the work of philosopher Martin Heidegger who, among other things, was an important figure in the development of linguistic theory that informed so much avant and postavant culture. All in all, this is a remarkable construct, aesthetically and conceptually. - DVS
